Well, it's been a little while since I last updated. I have started back at Coleg Ceredigion to finish my Office Skills & Technology course!
Tonight I went for a little stroll into the fields & collected the 1st batch of Sloe's! They are in the freezer as we speak & will be on their way to being gin or wine by the weekend! Watch this space for the Christmas batch! Will let you know how it goes! LOL

Oooohhhh Sloe GIN! :D
Ahh! you're mention of sloes brings back such memories. When living in Cardiff, my wife and I used to drive out to Y Skyryd nr. Abergavenny, to a bunch of Blackthorn bushes we found on the hillside. We'd pick enough for bottles of sloe gin for friends and a few for ourselves. It was so convenient that the process came to it's best three months later - just in time for Christmas. I remember the rich claret colour and how the dye stayed on your fingers long after you had pricked every little bugger. So far I have found no such equivalent here in Canada which is where I call home now. 'Diolch yn fawr' for the memory.
